~*~ Hot keys (quick access keys) and Fun Faces Below! ~*~
Potion Quick Access Keys:
~ Press K to use Stamina Potions to regain Stamina Bar (yellow one to anyone that is a newbie and hasn't realized this yet). Your Stamina will regain slower and need more potions if you are hungry. If your character is hungry and you use a Stamina Potion it will regain a little of your Stamina but not much due to your hunger. Eat food till full then use Stamina Potion and you're all set. Watch how many you use since some if used too much at once can result in potion poisoning. (I have done this, it's annoying)
~ Press J to use Mana Potion to regain Mana Bar or Magic Bar (blue bar to anyone that is a newbie or hasn't realized it yet). If you are focusing on spells keep MP (or Mana Potions) on you to use or you'll get into some trouble less you also know some swordsmanship or hand to hand combat as well. Also watch how many you consume in one setting since if you use too many you can get poisoned by them just like with the Stamina Potions.
~ Press H to use Health Potion to regain Health Points or HP (red bar for anyone that is a newbie or hasn't realized it yet). These are good if you are soloing fights or in parties. If you are soloing they are very good because using the Healing Skill on yourself eats up your Stamina like crazy but with all potions, you never want to over do it. If you use too many potions close together you'll get Potion Poisoning and that's annoying.
~ Press ctrl and J together to use Phoenix Feather if you have any to revive party members, pets, other players pets, or other players not part of your party or even on your friends list. Now this won't always work. Some times it will but other times won't. It depends what kind of feather it is and the situation. (Phoenix Feather, Party Phoenix Feather, Advanced Phoenix Feather, Advanced Party Phoenix Feather, Advanced Phoenix Party Feather Event, Advanced Phoenix Feather Event) If the hot key doesn't work for you then simply Open your Inventory (or Invy as some call it) and Right click on the feather, Left click Use and Select your target.

~ Press M to Open and Close your map that appears in, normally Right Upper Corner unless player moves it to a new location then it will appear there.
~ Press O to Open and Close your clock that appears in the top center between the 2 bar rows for other hot keys and your map. And that is O as in Oh not O as in 0 (zero) just to clarify.
~ Press C to Open and Close the Character Information Window. In this window will give your Character's stats, age, as well as on the Advance Tab there will be the information of your Cumulative level or Total Level if you have Rebirthed, Exploration Total Level, and the other tabs are self explanatory. And also under the Advance Tab if you are in a marriage or in a family you can access the family tree from the bottom and summon a family member once per-day to your location.
~ Press N to Open and Close the Action Menu which lets you use the Warp Skill, Play Dead, and other Actions/Skills that fall into the Action Menu because they do not gain levels or experience points. Also under the Action Menu are the Gesture both default and any you gained by using a Gesture Card and there are some funny ones you can buy or earn during some events.
~ Press Z to Open and Close the Skills Menu Window which has basically all your already learned/learning skills and also has a tab to show you what skills are left that you have not yet learned and explains how to learn them.
~ Press Q to Open and Close the Quest Menu Window. Here is where all the quests are that you currently have to do or are suggestions to do. Some are optional others are not. They have split it up more recently so now any Event quests are under the Event tab and the Normal quests are under Normal then of course if it is a quest part of the storyline the tab shall show with the name of that Generation's quests you are currently on.
~ Press F to Open and Close the Friends List Window. Here obviously view your friends, read and respond to any notes you been sent, change your status by your name, change your online status setting, add a friend, view your guild members if you are in a guild. And a note to anyone not knowing this or hasn't realized it. You cannot send a message to people as offline (when body by their name is red) you can, however, send a note to them if the body by their name is red. If it is green you can message them normally by left clicking twice on their name or right click once and left click Send Message. You can also note them if you do not wish to have an open chat window. (And if you double click on the rectangle at the top where their name is listed you can add other online players from your Friend's list to the conversation and make it a group window)
~ Press U to Open and Close the Homestead Menu in order to access your Homestead and to access your Favorite List of your friend's Homesteads you have added to Favorites. You can also simply click on the small plant sprout but the quick key can at times be quicker. Also, to use the Visitor List your Homestead entree must be set to Owner then if anyone would like access to your Homestead you must approve of their entree by going to the Visitor List and checking the box by their name then either click Allow, Deny, or Block. But there is a limit to how many people you can have on the Approve list at one time so if you do this be warned about there is a limit to how many can be on the Allow List.
~ Press T to Open and Close the Pet Menu Window. Window displaying all the Pets you have on your server. They could be free pets, pets you won in a contest, or pets you bought the cards of and created from the pet shop. There is a nice selection of pets in the Web Shop but those in the Web Shop do cost real money unless you have been doing the Free Offers or watching videos to earn up free Nexon to use then you wouldn't be spending your real money for virtual money.
~ Press i to Open and Close the Inventory Window or Invy as some call it. Quite useful when you wish to quickly access your inventory during a battle or during something that requires you to get into your inventory for some reason and you don't wish to click on the Inventory icon.
~ Press ] to Open and Close the Transformation Journal to see what you have collected and what you have not. As a note, whatever level your Transformation Skill is is the level or lower for Monsters you need to collect you can collect upon. If you are Rank B then Rank B and lower in the Transformation Journal are what you can kill and collect the orbs from. Anything of Rank A or higher you can kill yes but cannot collect orbs of till you are Rank A or higher. You may turn into any NPC you wish that you collected the card of no matter your over all Transformation rank. Also as the higher your rank grows the harder and harder it is to collect the orbs from the monsters in the journal you need orbs from. If you do not feel like hunting and killing the monsters then you can go and buy the cards in shops run by other players but after a while it could cost you a pretty gold coin as some charge quite a bit for the little Monster Transformation Medals. Only way to earn an NPC Transformation Medal is if it's a prize for completing a task/event or you buy it from other players selling them.
~ Press P to Open and Close the Party Window to create your own party by naming it and selecting how many people max you will allow to join. Options are 2-8 people. You can also from here choose to Form the party there or to publish it on the Party Board so everyone anywhere can see it and join if they wish instead of you walking around with the bar above your head looking for members. Also if you have and wish to do a group song with music then everyone must have the Jam Season action and for that to work select Jam Party. If you are doing a specific dungeon then select Dungeon Party and if it's just the generalized things, nothing special or music then leave it at the first selection it picks automatically.

Other Useful Quick Keys:
~ Press Y to raise and lower the hoods of robes and some helmets if able to be done so.
~ Press ctrl and N together to hide ALL user, NPC, and monster names and word bubbles from appearing above anyone/anything's heads. Useful for trying to lessen any lag you are having. Don't always work but at times it does and other times makes it easier to see where you are going in crowded event area's. This does not hide people's public messages from appearing at the bottom of your screen if you have the tab selected for All on what you view and what you send messages to.
~ Press ctrl and P together to hide ALL party bars that appear above any user's head when they are recruiting for a party. Very useful during an event, such as the Quiz Event, where one must go from Spot A to Spot B in a set time frame and can't be slowed down by clicking a party bar and being asked if really wish to join their party. Also if a person has a store open the bar above the store will not be seen, same for the bar above signs at, such as, the Banquet Hall that takes place once a week on Saturday evenings in Tara's Castle.
~ Press tab to switch equipment from 1 to 2 and 2 to 1. This is, I think, now default set at ` but I went into Options to change it to tab because to me tab is just quicker to press when you wish to switch from a bow to swords or swords to another weapon or to just empty hands after holding weapons or a tool or item. You technically can change it to any key you wish in Options but to me tab is quicker to hit and closer to hit when you are in battle.
~ Press ctrl and hold ctrl down to make it easier to stay locked onto a target when you are going into a fight or to lock onto an NPC if there is a large crowd around said NPC. Very useful in fights, especially when that monster or animal is moving so you can stay locked on and click the crap out of your mouse to attack and kill it hehe. And yes this is a default so you don't need to do a thing to make this happen haha.
~ Press alt and hold alt to more easily pick up items off the ground or to more easily target click-able things such as herbs you wish to gather but can't seem to get a good position on to click and pick them. Or if it an item or items off the ground that are small or have fallen under the monster you just killed makes it easy to collect the rewards of your fight. Also is a good way to see the ranking of monsters compared to your level such as some will say Weakest, Weak, Strong, Strongest, Awful, Boss, or nothing except the monster's name. If this is so then that means that monster is on the same level as you or is counted as equal or about equal to your current strength/level.
~ Press shift and hold shift so where you click to move to you will walk and instead of run. Let go of shift and your character will run again which is default. Running resumes after your person has stopped walking and you click on the ground or map again while not holding shift.
~ Press space bar to change your character from Combat Mode to Normal Mode or Normal Mode to Combat Mode. Combat Mode around wild animals or monsters will make them more likely to take notice to you and might attack you. Normal Mode will be a better chance of going unnoticed and not getting attacked but they can still attack you even in Normal Mode if their aggressive level is high enough. This can be found at times on Mabinogi's Wiki site.
~ Press enter to open the Chat Bar to either chat to everyone meaning your words pop up over top of your head for all to see. If you press tab or even just click say Party then all you would be chatting to are those in your Party. If you hit tab again or click on Whisper then simply type in the name of the person you wish to speak to directly then hit space then type your message. Your message will appear only for them to see and so forth back for them to you. Press tab or click the next option Guild is the same here. Anything you type and send here will be seen only by your guild members. If you are not part of a guild I don't think it will really matter or do much. Press tab or click Trade and that will show you only messages of trading going. Press tab or click System to see only System messages only and nothing from other people unless they somehow send a message out in the form of a system message. And to close the chat area you ask? Simply press Enter again while there are no messages to send and it shall fall back down hidden from view.
~ Press esc to cancel a skill or to close boxes that are up on your screen. It will also give you the option to skip movie scenes that take place such as when you enter a boss room in a dungeon.
~ Press \ to hide all windows, boxes, bars from showing up on the screen. Press \ a second time to make everything reappear. This is useful if you wish to have a wider, unobstructed view of things around you but if someone messages you all windows and things shall reappear on the screen and this hide all windows will be deactivated till you reactivate it.
~ Press prt sc sysrq to take a screen picture of what is going on with your person. It's much easier this way and quicker to press this button. Normally, or on my keyboard at least, the button shows with the words prt sc above the word sysrq but I know all keyboards are different.
~ Open your Skills Window and if you click on the picture you can move that skill to the boxes appearing on the upper left. There you can place the skill by left clicking an empty box you wish to place that skill at and so that number or f number shall correspond with that skill or, if you like, pet summon. You have 8 different selections for the 2nd row that consist of using the number 1 to the number 0 (zero) and also uses the - and = in that row. The top row you have just 2 different selections for the 1st row and they consist of using f1 to f12 for any skills, actions, or pet summons you wish to attach to them. You can also attach any transformations to these as well to quickly use them while holding a Dream Catcher.
~ If you find yourself typing with your CAPS lock in reverse (such as when your caps is turned on you have lower case letters and caps off you have upper case letters) this is a glitch that can happen from time to time if you have CAPS on when you press enter to bring up the chat at the bottom or if you click on a box of a friend to talk to them. If this happens simply hit enter to bring up and put down the chat bar then turn your CAPS off and hit enter to bring up the chat bar and test it by typing some letters. If it is still reversed then turn the CAPS on, close the chat, turn off CAPS again, then hit enter and see. If still a problem, close the chat while CAPS is off then bring up chat again while CAPS is off. Just keep trying this and eventually your letters will return to their rightful ways. Capital letters when CAPS is on and lower case letters when CAPS is off.

How To Make Neat and Funny Faces:
*Note* All these must be typed in the public chat for the faces to work. Most of these were revealed to me by a close friend, and in game daughter, who I will not name here in case she wouldn't like it. Some work with the three races but some might not work with the three races. I shall try to obtain pictures of each expression to show if all work on all three races (Human, Elf, Giant) or what will work on which race.
1.) lol will cause a laughing/big grinning face. Also can get this face by typing (laugh) and your person will make the face but instead of lol (laugh out loud) showing above your head just a few dots will appear and your person shall still do the face. Another way to activate this face is by typing :) and can also get this face by typing hahahaha also by typing ahahaha as well.
2.) >_< will make a kitty like face. This is also accomplished with >< or (jeah) and in typing (jeah) just a few dots will appear above your head instead of the symbols of >_< or >< depending on which you were to type instead of (jeah) to get this face.
3.) scary will make a scared face. Also can get this by typing the word scared into the public chat and sent for those near to read. Also can type the words as (scary) and (scared) and will appear as a few dots above your head and not the words and will still result in the face.
4.) cool will make a face of someone that makes me feel is being sarcastic or not thrilled by is agreeing. Also gained by typing the word awesome and sending it for those to see. A second way to gain this face is to type (cool) and just a few dots shall appear above your head instead of either word. Can also type (awesome) and get the face and have a few dots above your head instead of the word.
5.) T_T will make a sad face with sad eyes. Also can do this with TT_TT which is simply 2 T's together with an underscore in the middle. Another way to gain this is by typing (sad) and a few dots will appear above your head instead of either typed faces listed first.
6.) T.T will make a sad face with eyes closed and two lines going down the face like tears. Also done by typing TT.TT which is 2 T's together with a period in the middle. Another face to use to get this is :'( being : with an apostrophe and ( typed together in a row. Another way to do this is by typing (cry) and a few dots will appear above your head instead of either typed faces listed first.
7.) :D will make a grinning/laughing face. Similar to #1 but the eyes are different. (and the D must be capitalized it does not work with the lower case d)
8.) hmm will make a serious thinking face. Also hmmmmm will create the same face. If any of the letters are capitalized the face will not happen.
9.) 8D will make a very strange face. It is so strange I have no real way to describe it.
10.) O_O will make a shocked face with big white eyes and jaw dropped. (uses 2 capital O's not zeros)
11.) o_o will make a shocked face with smaller eyes and a round mouth. (uses 2 lower case o's not zeros) This can also be caused with (surprised) and will bring up a few dots above your players head instead of the emoticon face listed first.
12.) ?_? will make a confused expression on the face.
13.) (perv) will make an, I would call, ugly troll like face one normally sees pasted on top of other photos to create suppose humor.
14.) (naive) will cause a cute, adorable, sparkly eye look.
15.) (evil) will cause a face that, to me, calls for the classic muwahahahahahahaha laughter.
16.) (angry) will cause a face similar to (evil) but jaw will be dropped and eyes more saying anger.
17.) (confused) will cause a face of confusion with swirly eye look.
18.) (pain) will cause the eyes to close and make one feel their person is in pain, or did me anyways.
19.) (eyesclosed) will cause players eyes to close with a calm feel to the eyes, the mouth dose not change.
20.) (love) will bring a sweet smile to ones face.
21.) (sympathy) will bring a face of eyes similar to the sparkly eyes but the mouth is down with sadness so the sparkly eyes are sad eyes.
22.) :P will cause a very strange face I am not sure how to describe it.
23.) (wink) will make your person give a sweet, cute wink. (discovered by me)
*Note* All these must be typed in the public chat for the faces to work.
